LIVING INTENTIONALLY

I'm sure that many of us are great at creating "lists"—grocery lists, to-do lists, honey-do lists, the "lists" could go on and on. We make lists to help us organize our thoughts and to help keep us focused. Have you ever tried to grocery shop without a list? The cart piles with so many things yet we usually forget the one most important thing we went for.
Aren't our days like that too sometimes? We start out knowing that we need to glorify God and include Him in all that we do, but we quickly are distracted. We get so busy that we neglect to do so. If we are going to live a life that glorifies God we have to be intentional with our time and wise with our choices. We must be careful to keep a sense of purpose. What if we made it a priority to start a list each day that looked like this:
2) Study scriptures to find out what pleases God
Gracious loving God, help us to turn our hearts and minds to you so that we may glorify you in our daily choices, actions, and decisions.
